What is microneedling?

Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin. It is virtually painless and incredibly effective. "The micro-injuries you create stimulates the body's natural wound healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production, therefore reversing as well as preventing signs of aging," says board certified dermatologist Sejal Shah, MD. It works the same way lasers do, only you're injuring the skin mechanically instead of using heat or light.)

Why is it so effective?

The primary appeal of microneedling is its ability to stimulate growth of collagen and elastin, which is the key to new, youthful-looking skin. Some doctors would even go so far as to say that the procedure is the most powerful way to stop aging in its tracks and prevent new fine lines and wrinkles from forming. With its ability to trigger the generation of new skin cells, just a few sessions of microneedling will noticeably reduce fine lines, crow's feet, and deep wrinkles on the forehead.

How much downtime should I expect?

Most clients experience red, puffy skin for 1-3 days. After that, your skin turns returns to normal except that you begin to see beautiful, new skin forming as wrinkles and dark spots fade. This healing process continues for several weeks. The full benefits can continue for months.

What makes our microneedling different?

  • The topical product used during your session is key to success. We get the best results possible by using the best skincare products available including Lira, Eminence and Rejuvapen Peptides. These expensive peptides and serums are often skipped by other service providers to save money. We don't cut corners!
  • We offer post-treatment producst to facilitate healing fo the weeks following your treatment. This is extremely important to optimize results.
  • We follow needling guidelines precisely. Some service providers go too deep or not deep enough. This reduces optimal results and can even damage skin.

If you're considering different providers, ask lots of questions and get a list of products they use. This will help you make the best decision possible!
